Authentic 240Z · S30 Restoration
Authentic 240Z · S30 Restoration
We restore the structure underneath, not just the surface. Every build is done to factory spec, fully documented, and finished to the same standard — client car or our own. No patch-panel shortcuts, no cover-ups, no corners cut. If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't leave the shop.

Complete rotisserie rebuilds that restore your 240Z to showroom quality by addressing every detail — from unibody repairs to paint — with craftsmanship that lasts. We specialize in professional-quality sheet metal replacement — fully welded, properly fitted panels with full-penetration welds, not the screwed-in patch panels and skim-coated shortcuts so often hidden beneath the flawless paint and interiors seen on auction sites. We restore the structure underneath, not just the surface.

We restore original L-series long blocks, transmissions, and driveline components to original factory specifications. Every rebuild begins with careful measurement — each bore, journal, and clearance checked and blueprinted against factory tolerances. Precision machining of the block, head, and rotating assembly ensures true surfaces and correct fitment, and final assembly is carried out meticulously by hand, torqued and verified at every step. Before installation, every engine is broken in and tested on our in-house run stand to confirm oil pressure, sealing, and reliable operation. Our default is a precise, faithful restoration — repeatable results and tasteful modernization for long-term dependability that preserves the authentic character of your 240Z. Modifications can also be done at the owner's request. For those who want more than a faithful restoration, we also offer built-to-order, period-correct hot rodding — building your engine the way an enthusiast would have in the car's era. Triple Mikuni or Weber side-draft carburetors, ported and polished heads, hotter cams, headers, and balanced and blueprinted rotating assemblies are all on the table, drawing on the same speed parts and tuning know-how that defined the period. Every build is tailored to how you intend to drive the car, combining authentic vintage performance with our same standards of precision and reliability.

Suspension work is performed to original factory specifications, restoring the precise geometry and handling your 240Z was designed around. For safety, we strongly recommend modern brake upgrades on every car we build — a meaningful improvement in stopping power over the original equipment — and we'll always walk you through the options. If you prefer a fully original car, we'll supply and fit the correct factory parts so it stays true to stock. For owners who want more than stock, we also offer modern suspension and brake upgrades — coilovers, performance bushings, sway bars, larger discs, and upgraded calipers — to sharpen handling and stopping power well beyond the original equipment, all tuned to how you plan to drive your Z.
We're relocating from California to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and expect to be fully operational in September 2026. We're already taking inquiries and scheduling upcoming projects — reach out now and we'll be ready to start the moment our new shop opens.
